Coasteering Wales’s coasteering sessions are not run at different levels, each session is aimed at providing you with the experience that is best suited to your personal or group needs, with each coasteering session tailored to the group’s abilities and desires.

The majority of our sessions are run from our base at Anglesey Outdoors which is located 400 meters from some of the best coasteering venues in Wales; this has the added advantage of changing rooms and enables to have a hot shower and drinks prior to your departure. A flexible approach may be needed to session locations, which are subject to sea conditions.

The Coasteering adventures that we run are open to absolute beginners including those that have no previous outdoor adventure experience.

Swimming ability is related to confidence in the water and is therefore a question to assist us, not a requirement to participate.

Our instructors are trained professionals and all participate in our water based activities and are required to wear and carry all of the safety kit provided by Coasteering Wales.

A reasonable degree of fitness is required as this activity can be physically demanding even on the calmest of days.
